For applicants, all four-year undergraduate freshmen and transfer students enrolling in 2018 Academic Year, the process of the application is divided into TWO phases as follows:

Phase I: Initial Review

• Duration: From August 1 (Wed.) to August 12 (Sun.), 2018. (Late application is NOT accepted.)
• Procedure:
1. Complete the application form at https://goo.gl/forms/DJ1naXnzooUrS0283. (Please fill your ID Number in the blank of "Student ID Number" if you do not have your Student ID Number.)
2. Upload an image file of your valid certificate (or official score/test report) of the accredited English test you marked in the aforementioned online application form to https://goo.gl/zRVxEL.
• Announcement of Acceptance:
1. The list of acceptance will be announced on the official website of the Language Center at https://new.cle.ntust.edu.tw/home.php after 4:00 pm, August 14 (Tue.).
2. Students failing to pass Initial Review will have to participate in the English Placement Test of 2018 Academic Year.
3. Students passing Initial Review will have to go on to Phase II.

Phase II: Final Review

• Duration: From September 10 (Mon.) to September 21 (Fri.) (Late application is NOT accepted.)
• Procedure: Go to the office of the Language Center with the aforementioned original certificate (or official score/test report) and a photocopy of it for Final Review.
• Announcement of Acceptance: Students NOT passing Final Review will be informed by phone or e-mail. (Please do notice and check your e-mail.)

*Reminder:

1. Students NOT completing Phase II are regarded as ones not participating in English Placement Test. They will have to participate in the English Placement Test of 2019 Academic Year.
2. The date of the valid certificate (or official score/test report) should be after August 25, 2016.
