Dear students:

Due to the recent pandemic regulations, the application of waiving English classes for the 111-2-1 semester has been modified. Applicants only need to 1complete the procedure online for the 111-2-1 semester. The process is different from that in the past. So please pay more attention. The modified guidelines are as follows:

1.application time: 02/22/2023 (Mon.) to 03/03/2023 (Fri.)

If you are going to graduate this semester and have any questions about the waiving, please contact the language center.

2.Eligibility Criteria: All four-year undergraduate students at NTUST are eligible applicants.

3.How to apply:

(1) The process of application will and needs to be completed ONLINE.

Complete the application form at https://forms.gle/zY7wc9cLCMfVt8RX7

(2) Fill up the form and upload the required documents during the designated period. The Language Center will review the information and files.

4.Information and documents required in the online application form:

(1) Complete the Google form online.

(2) Application form (please use your student id to download the form and convert to pdf format and upload the form)

(3) Official test report or certificate. The report or certificate validates only for two years after you take the test. Upload a photocopy of the test report or certificate(applicants using the test results of a TOEIC test need to make sure that the QR code on the test report in the uploaded file is clear and complete).

(4) Upload a screenshot of the required and elective course from NTUST online student information system (please go to the student information system ->courses information -> student required courses -> search -> a screenshot that contains required and elective English courses with FE codes)   

( please refer to the example below). The screenshot must include your name

and student id. If you fail to include that information, the application

will be considered to be incomplete. Please convert to a single photo in a pdf

format and upload the file.

(7)Next application period for waivers: the first and the second week of the beginning semester.

● The Language Center will contact you via email or cell phone should you fail the review. So please check your email and cell phone.

● Should fraudulent documents be found, the applicant cannot waive any courses and is subject to penalties for violating school rules.
