Online Self-learning English Course with TED Talks coming soon in Fall 2018!
A professional team of our English teachers chooses TED Talks video clips and designs exclusive lessons and practices. After watching the video clips, you can take online tests or respond to questions on the discussion forum. The teachers will join the discussion every now and then. The diverse topics not only advance your English but also broaden your horizons!

- Course Duration: 12 weeks in total from Sep. 24th (Mon.) to Dec. 16th (Sun.); one topic per week
- Participants: NTUST students, faculty, and staff who are interested in self-learning English

- Application: If you are not enrolled in a required Freshman English course, Please please apply for an account in person with your student/faculty/staff ID card and fill out the application form at the office of the Language Center (IB-207). (If you have applied for the account for the summer online self-learning course with TED Talks, there is no need to apply for a new account.)
The Language Center will set up the accounts for the freshmen who take the required freshman English courses. The accounts will be activated within two weeks after the end of add/drop period. The account and password are preset to your Student ID Number. (The English letter should be capitalized.)
*Notes:
If meeting the course requirements within 2 weeks after each lesson starts,
- NTUST faculty and staff can get 2 learning-hours per lesson.
- NTUST students can get 2 self-learning points per lesson.
