1. Please see the attached files for the results of the online application for the second phase Freshman English Placement Test Waiver. If your application has failed, i.e. you don’t see your name on the list, you will have to take the placement test. Test information will be announced on the language center’s website on Friday, September 3, at 16:00.

 2. If you have passed the online application, make sure you complete the application process after school begins. To complete the application of Freshman English Placement Test waiver, bring the original copy and a photocopy of the score report/certificate of the English test used for the online application to the Language Center for the secondary review from Wednesday, Oct 6, to Wednesday, Oct 13. Failing the secondary review is the same as being absent from the Freshman English Placement Test.

3. ※Note: The students who have not taken the placement test or have not applied for the exemption of the test successfully have to obtain a total of 12 required credits from the English language courses before graduation, 8 credits from required Freshman English and 4 credits from elective English courses, and CANNOT waive any English courses.
